Chandigarh Breast Cancer Trust celebrated its Founder’s Day and Survivor’s Meet on 6th October 2024 at Hyatt Centric, Sector 17, Chandigarh.

HPV virus is the commonest cause of Cervical Cancer and CERVAVAC is the vaccine which is being used today in preventing most HPV attributable Cancers. The trust organised a Vaccination Camp at Guru Gobind Singh School, Sector 26 Chandigarh, where 46 young girls were vaccinated under the guidance of Dr. Gaurav Prakash Professor of Oncology at PGI Chandigarh.

A Conference on HER 2+Breast Cancer was organised at Hyatt Regency Chandigarh which was attended by Leading Oncologist from Punjab Himachal Jammu Chandigarh Mohali and Panchkula There were Case studies and discussions on the effective use of the drug SIGRIMA This was organised under the agies of Chandigarh Breast Cancer Trust and attended by more than 100 Doctor’s 7 july 2024

Today No Tobacco day was observed at PGI there was a poster making competition for the children and prizes were given University students enacted a Nukad play team of Doctors from PGI shared their thoughts on the I’ll effects of Tobacco  consumption 31 May 2024
